Lean Cuisine: Deep Dish Roasted Vegetable Pizza

This week, I had a Lean Cuisene, Deep Dish, Roasted Vegetable Pizza.
You can have one of these mini pizzas for lunch, and not blow your diet! Lean Cuisine meals also have the amount of Weight Watchers points each one is.  This pizza is 6 points.  That's pretty good for a pizza! It also has other health guide lines on the front of the box for anyone who wants the nutrition values.
This is the nutrition information that is also on the back on the box.
This is how it comes in the box.  It's wrapped in plastic too.  It was a little bit hard to get out of the plastic.
This is the box it comes in.  Pull it apart and fold it a certain way and, Walla! A pizza baking sheet for the for the microwave.  It crisps the bottom of the crust.  This pizza bakes in less than a mere three minutes!

This is what the pizza looks like cooked.  It was actually pretty tasty.  It has onions, green and red peppers, mushrooms, and tomatoes.  By now, everyone probably knows that I prefer meat, but this pizza is ok for being a veggie pizza.  I do wish the veggies had more of a flavor; the cheese is ok.  The sauce was ok.  The crust was good and bread-like, even though it is cooked in the microwave. I give this pizza 1 pizza pie out of 4. This pizza can get you by if you have a taste for pizza, but you don't want all of the calories!

WB's Pizza

This week, Ian and and I went to WB Pizza.  We love WB Pizza!!! I was the mayor on Foursquare, but now Ian is. Boo!  Ian gave me a gift card for WB for my Birthday.
WB Pizza is a great local restaraunt. We end up eating here once every couple weeks. The people are friendly and kind.  The food is awesome!

There's a frequent customer discount card!  Something is free every fifth visit!
They also serve Pepsi products.  I actually prefer Pepsi products!
This is the garlic bread.  It's very buttery. It comes with two sauces. We get cheese and marinara.  The marinara was a bit spicey this week, but it was still great!
You can order deep dish or or thin crust pizza.  This is a deep dish with Bacon, Tomato, and Mushroom.  It was slightly well done this week.  That doesn't bother me.  The cheese is always fresh and tastes like a good mozarella.  The Bacon pieces are a good size and always dispersed propperly on the pizza.  The tomato is diced/crushed into very small pieces.  This creates a nice texture and flavor.  There's a choice between portabella mushrooms and small regular mushrooms.  We get the regular ones. They have a nice mild flavor. The crust on this pizza is pretty amazing. Since it's a deep dish pizza, it has a nice soft bread like crust.  I usually save the left over sauce from the garlic bread to dip the pizza crust in.
We usually go on week nights, and they aren't extremely busy.  This time, we were there on a Friday. They were a bit busier.  We were still treated well!   The server we usually have is this really nice woman.  She keeps the drinks refilled and the food coming!  I give WB Pizza 3 and 3/4 pizza pies out of four.  I took the quarter off due to the pizza being a bit well done this time.  This place is definitely an awesome Indianapolis home town specialty!

This week, we tried Freschetta Naturally Rising Crust Pizza.
This pizza retails for $4.99.

It was supposed to take 30-35 minutes at 375 degrees.

This pizza was wrapped in plastic and had cardboard on the bottom.

This toppings were kind of one sided and I would normally move them around a bit, but they were too frozen on to move.

I cooked this at 350 degrees for about 28 mintues.  (Yay for my new oven in the new apartment when I move in a couple weeks!)  The crust was really puffy and full looking when I took it out of the oven.  The directions said to let it set for five minutes before eating.  Within that time, the pizza fell a little bit.
The crust on this pizza was very chewy. It was pretty good with the cheese that baked into it on the edges.  The veggies were kind of flavorless, just there for texture.  The sausage had a little bit of a meaty flavor, but not really like sausage.  The pepperoni was a bit on the salty side and so was the sauce.  I give the Freschetta pizza a two pizza pie rating out of four.  It's OKor a frozen pizza.
